Больше всего впечатляет грандиозный рыцарский турнир в середине эпизода. В нем воины из разных семей Вестероса сражаются за звание сильнейшего в Семи королевствах. Поединок рыцарей превращается в яростную и суматошную драку не на жизнь, а на смерть.

В феврале 2021 года было объявлено, что телеканал HBO приступил к съемкам сериала «Дом дракона 1 сезон» о доме Таргариенов в апреле 2021. Об этом заявил ведущий контент-менеджер HBO Max и HBO Кейси Блойс. Блойс уточнил, что также отправится на съемочную площадку, но только если успеет вакцинироваться.

После успеха «Игры престолов», многие начали пытаться создать свою масштабную вселенную, и получить большую прибыль на этом поприще (Ведьмак, Викинги, и т.д.). Однако сие попытки оказывались тщетными по причине бедного наполнения мира, слабо написанного сценария, плохим актерским составом, посредственным музыкальным сопровождением. Хоть выше названные сериалы тяжело назвать откровенно плохими, но они и близко не идут в сравнение с творением Джорджа Мартина.

Бюджет сериала компания не раскрывает, западные издания упоминают сумму, близкую к $200 млн. Большую часть потратили на киноэкспедиции и компьютерную графику: съемки проходили в Великобритании, Испании, Португалии и Северной Англии, а сцены с драконами снимали в специальном павильоне, где на окружающие актеров экраны проецировалось видео, имитирующее настоящий полет.

Мы посмотрели первую серию «Дома Дракона» и делимся впечатлениями. Вот три причины, почему сериал порадует фанатов «Игры престолов», и одна — почему шоу может разочаровать.

Сразу хочу сказать, что я не являюсь поклонником творчества Мартина, однако немного соскучился по добротным масштабным шоу, тем более в псевдоисторическом сеттинге. Более того, я не являюсь поклонником Мартина настолько, что и в оригинальной «Игре» запомнил только основных персонажей, да и то к четвертому сезону… тех из них, кто еще остался в живых, конечно. Поэтому заранее прошу прощения, что в этой рецензии имен не будет, но обещаю, что вы поймете, о ком речь.

В первой серии «Дома Дракона» есть все то, за что зрители любили «Игру престолов»: политические интриги, жестокие боевые сцены и откровенные сцены. Всего спустя 20 минут зрителям крупным планом показывают отрезанный половой орган. За просмотром «Дома Дракона» лучше ничего не есть — аппетит может пропасть надолго.

Мартин ратовал за сюжет о «Танце драконов» – кровавой вражде внутри клана Таргариен, которому посвящена его книга «Пламя и кровь» (в России она поделена на две части – «Кровь драконов» и «Пляска смерти»). Но зеленый свет был дан другому сюжету – истории появления Белых ходоков, при том что в произведениях Мартина этому событию посвящено лишь восемь строк.
